Iniö
In Iniö, everything is small, except nature. There are more than 1,000 islands and islets and more than 700 kilometers of seashore. Ten of the islands are inhabited all year round.
Iniö is part of the Ring Road of the Archipelago, thanks to which Iniö has good connections in different directions. What makes Iniö unique is its authentic archipelago environment. The island is a unique blend of natural beauty, cultural heritage and modern conveniences.
You can visit the beautiful church named after the Swedish princess Sophia Wilhelmina. You can find restaurants, shop, café, small kiosks selling local produce and even a dairy selling local goat cheeses produced on the farm.
Located on the west border of the mainland, and on the border of the self-governing province of Åland the island can only be reached by ferry during the summertime from Houtskär in the south or year-round from Kustavi in the north. You can continue the journey to the smaller islands by connecting ship and landings.
