Marieta’s Tapas

Marieta's Spanish Tapas is more than just a restaurant. It's a Mediterranean corner by the Finnish sea.
We bring the Spanish tapas culture to Airisto: small, flavorful dishes meant to be shared with friends and enjoyed slowly.

About tapas:
The word "tapa", meaning "cover", comes from the Spanish verb "tapar", which means "to cover."
The history of the word is linked to the old custom of placing a slice of bread, ham, or cheese over a glass to protect it from insects and dust.
Over time, this simple gesture evolved from a small snack served with drinks into a social event and a way to experience gastronomy, one that can even replace a main meal or represent fine dining in itself.
At Marieta's, we celebrate that tradition, where every bite is an invitation to share, laugh, and enjoy.

For groups of 8 people or more, we recommend booking in advance so we can make your visit even better.
