Archipelago Sauna & Forest Spa Ritual

Experience a traditional Finnish sauna ritual in the rhythm of the island at Kalliokumpu Eco Lodge, located in the Finnish archipelago, in the heart of the Turku archipelago.

This nature-based wellness experience combines heat, cold water and forest elements into a calm and restorative flow. Inspired by Finnish sauna culture, the ritual follows a natural sequence of warming, cooling and rest.

The experience begins outdoors, allowing you to slow down and transition into the surrounding forest environment. A wood-fired sauna with traditional löyly forms the core of the ritual, alternating with natural cooling, fresh air and moments of stillness.

Wellbeing deepens through additional elements such as a hot tub under the open sky, a forest bath and a relaxing herbal treatment in the SPA tipi using locally inspired plants. Herbal teas and natural scents accompany the experience throughout.

The Archipelago Sauna & Forest Spa Ritual is designed as a quiet and intimate experience, with a limited number of guests, offering a grounded way to reconnect with body and mind in the Finnish archipelago.
